Terms and Condition

Please read these Terms and Conditions before requesting a quotation or placing an order with GoTo Boxes. By approving your artwork, confirming your order or making payment, you agree to the terms set out below.

Customer Information

When requesting a quotation or placing an order, you must provide complete and accurate information. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, box dimensions, quantity and artwork requirements.

GoTo Boxes will not be responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.

Please notify us promptly if any of your contact, order or delivery details change.

Customer-Supplied Content

Customers may provide logos, images, text, illustrations and other artwork for use on their custom packaging.

Before sending any content to us, you must ensure that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it
  • It does not infringe copyright, trade marks or other rights
  • It is not unlawful, misleading, abusive or defamatory
  • All product information and claims are accurate
  • Any required warnings or legal details are included

You remain responsible for all content supplied for printing. GoTo Boxes will not be liable for claims arising from artwork or information provided without the required ownership or permission.

Our Right to Refuse Content

We may review customer-supplied content before accepting it for production.

GoTo Boxes reserves the right to refuse, remove or request changes to any artwork that:

  • Breaks the law
  • Infringes another party’s intellectual property
  • Contains offensive, threatening or discriminatory material
  • Includes misleading or fraudulent information
  • Conflicts with these Terms and Conditions
  • Cannot be reproduced to an acceptable printing standard

Refusing unsuitable content does not make GoTo Boxes responsible for the content or any related third-party claim.

Artwork Files

Customers should provide clear, high-resolution artwork in an appropriate printing format.

Low-resolution images, screenshots and files copied from websites may not produce a sharp printed result. We may request a higher-quality file if the artwork supplied is unsuitable for production.

You are responsible for checking the spelling, contact details, product information, dimensions and other content included in your artwork.

Design Support

GoTo Boxes may provide design support to help prepare customer artwork for the selected packaging layout.

Our designers may assist with the positioning of logos, images, text and other supplied elements. Design support does not include legal checks, copyright searches or confirmation that product claims meet industry regulations.

Any design created using customer-supplied materials remains subject to the rights attached to those materials.

Digital Proof Approval

A digital proof may be provided before production begins.

You must review the proof carefully and check:

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Product information
  • Contact details
  • Dimensions and layout
  • Logo and image placement
  • Colours
  • Barcodes and QR codes
  • Any warnings or required information

Production will begin after you approve the final proof. GoTo Boxes will not be responsible for errors that were present in artwork approved by the customer.

Changes requested after approval may result in additional costs and a revised production time.

Copyright and Ownership

You retain ownership of original artwork and branding supplied by you.

By submitting artwork, you give GoTo Boxes permission to use, resize and position it as required to prepare proofs and manufacture your packaging.

You must not submit copied logos, photographs, illustrations or designs unless you have permission from the legal owner.

You will be responsible for any reasonable costs, claims or losses resulting from content supplied in breach of another party’s intellectual property rights.

Colour Accuracy

Colours displayed on a computer, tablet or mobile screen may not appear exactly the same when printed.

Screens normally display colours using RGB, while packaging is commonly printed using CMYK or PMS colour systems. The final appearance may also be affected by:

  • Screen brightness and display settings
  • The colour and texture of the material
  • Printing methods
  • Laminations and coatings
  • Lighting conditions

For these reasons, an exact screen-to-print colour match cannot always be guaranteed.

Reasonable differences in colour between separate printing runs may also occur.

Box Dimensions

Customers must provide accurate box dimensions when requesting custom packaging.

Unless otherwise agreed, dimensions should be supplied in the following order:

Length × Width × Depth

You are responsible for ensuring that the measurements are suitable for your product. GoTo Boxes will not be responsible where the product does not fit because incorrect dimensions were supplied or approved by the customer.

Small dimensional variations may occur during cutting, creasing, folding and assembly.

Production Time

Production begins after:

  • The order specifications have been confirmed
  • The final artwork has been approved
  • The required payment has been received

The estimated production time for your order will be confirmed in your quotation or order confirmation.

Production estimates do not normally include time spent waiting for customer approval, artwork corrections or missing information.

Delays caused by artwork changes, material availability, machinery issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the completion date.

Order Quantity

Custom packaging is manufactured using commercial printing and finishing processes.

A small difference between the ordered quantity and the final quantity may occasionally occur because of setup, cutting, printing or quality-control requirements.

Any applicable quantity tolerance should be confirmed as part of your quotation. Boxes rejected during quality checks will not be included as acceptable finished products.

Quality Standards

GoTo Boxes aims to manufacture every order according to the specifications and artwork approved by the customer.

Minor variations may occur in:

  • Colour
  • Material shade
  • Board thickness
  • Cutting position
  • Folding
  • Gluing
  • Print alignment
  • Finishing

Variations that are normal within commercial packaging production and do not materially affect the appearance or use of the boxes will not normally be considered faults.

Samples

Samples may be available before a full production order is placed.

Sample options may include:

  1. A previously produced sample showing available materials, printing and finishing quality.
  2. A custom sample made according to your requested dimensions and artwork.

Custom samples may carry a charge because they require individual setup, printing, cutting and finishing.

Sample costs, production time and delivery arrangements will be confirmed before the sample order is accepted.

A physical sample may still differ slightly from a full production run because materials and printing conditions can vary between batches.

Prices and Payment

Prices are based on the specifications supplied when the quotation is prepared.

The price may change if you alter the:

  • Quantity
  • Dimensions
  • Material
  • Box structure
  • Artwork
  • Printing requirements
  • Finishing options
  • Delivery details

Production will not begin until the required payment has been received.

Changes and Cancellations

Contact GoTo Boxes immediately if you need to change or cancel an order.

Changes may be possible before production begins. Additional charges may apply where design work, materials or production setup have already been completed.

Custom-made packaging is produced specifically for each customer. Once production has started, the order may not be cancelled or changed.

This does not affect your legal rights where the finished products are faulty or materially different from the approved specifications.

Delivery

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

GoTo Boxes will not be responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect delivery details
  • The recipient being unavailable
  • Restricted access to the address
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Instructions given directly to the courier
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Please inspect the delivery when it arrives and report visible damage or missing parcels promptly.

Claims and Order Issues

If you believe your order is faulty, damaged or different from the approved specifications, contact us promptly.

Please provide:

  • Your order reference
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos
  • The number of affected boxes
  • Photographs of the delivery packaging, where relevant

Do not dispose of affected products until we have reviewed the issue.

Where a production fault is confirmed, an appropriate solution may include correction, replacement, a partial refund or another agreed remedy.
